At first, we could really enjoy such a nice view as several ships on so beautiful and blue see with white clouds in the terrace of the room in the fifth floor.

Secodly, the location is perfect. Only in a few minutes walk, we could see the most famous things of Istanbul, Blue mosque & St sophia.

Thirdly, our kids are 8 and 11 years old and all of us enjoyed nice breakfast provided with fresh bread, fruits, and many kinds of delicious things.

Of course, the room was clean and the staffs were helpful, gracious & welcoming. In addition, I'd like to introduce so nice experience with Historia. After visiting Istanbul, we realized that we had left a battery charger of camera to the hotel room. At that time, my expectation was not big, but I wrote an email to Historia regarding my battery charger, and after several days I got an email in which at last they found it. They explained that they look through all the rooms as I had not mentioned my exact room number.

Furthermore, they sent it to us for free by post. It was warm Turkish hospitality. I recommend all of you to visit this Historia and to have a nice experience in Istanbul.

My friend and I had a girls' trip to Turkey and sandwiched our travels with stays at the Historia. Upon arriving, we received a free upgrade to a room with a view. The staff was friendly, helpful, and I think slightly amused by us, as it seems that they don't get too many young single American women there. When we returned at the end of our travels, they appeared happy to have us back. On our last night there, while trying our new skills on the house backgammon board, one of the staff very kindly made us delicious mochas on the house!

The location is perfect for getting quickly too all of the Sultanahmet sights and good for longer but pleasant wanderings to the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. It is also a quick walk to the tram which will get you to the sights across the Golden Horn.

We have enjoyed our stay very much and do really recommend this hotel. The family-room with Bosperus-view was clean, the beds and the bath were satisfying. The room is nice with a small table, two armchairs, a minibar and televisionand of course with a nice but small balcony. The breakfast-buffet helps you to start the day in a good mood. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you. The three stars of this small hotel are appropriate, but we would give an extra star for the good atmosphere. It´s located very central and therefore you can reach all the touristic sites with ease. Still it´s not too loud in spite of the railway, which is just a few meters away. If you close the windows, you can sleep well, because the room is airy enough. During summer a silent air conditioning system provides cool air. -

I get to know about the hotel from Internet. Because of its location that is near to all the historical places, I chose this hotel. I enjoyed my stay in Ýstanbul as well in the hotel. I checked out sharp at 11:00 but flight was of 1:30 so they were kinf enough to keep luggage and laptop. Thanks & Regards

We were delighted with our choice of the Historia Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is cosy, the rooms are clean & the staff were helpful, gracious & welcoming. The location is fantastic- only a few minutes walk to the main street, St Sophia & Blue Mosque. We left feeling that we could not have asked for anything more in our choice of hotel & that the Historia will certianly be our reccomendation to anyone looking for a hotel in Istanbul.
